The INS-11013-3 measures intraocular pressure using the established Goldmann applanation principle. A pressure-measuring probe containing a prism gently flattens a precisely defined area of the patient's cornea.

X-Type Configuration

The X-Type configuration is designed for use with compatible Zeiss-style slit lamps and other slit-lamp systems featuring a suspension-arm mounting interface.

Precise Corneal Applanation

The instrument applanates a circular corneal area measuring 3.06 mm in diameter. Because the flattened area is small, changes in intraocular pressure caused by the measuring force are minimized.

Fluorescein Observation

Under slit-lamp magnification with fluorescein and blue-light illumination, the practitioner observes two green semicircles and adjusts the measuring drum until their inner edges align.

Wide Measurement Range

The tonometer provides a measurement range from 0 to 10.6 kPa, equivalent to approximately 0 to 80 mmHg, supporting routine IOP examinations and elevated-pressure assessments.

7 mm Measuring Probe
