The Opti+ INS-11066 Lens Drilling Machine is designed for the precise drilling and reaming of ophthalmic lenses used in rimless eyewear assembly. Its dual-drill-bit system processes the lens simultaneously from both sides, while its adjustable bore system produces finished holes ranging from 0.8 to 2.8 mm.
The machine is suitable for mineral glass, CR-39 plastic, and polycarbonate lenses. An optional attachment also allows one-sided drilling of plastic and polycarbonate lenses.

Simultaneous Two-Sided Drilling
Two matching drill bits approach the lens from the upper and lower sides, helping produce an accurately aligned hole while reducing pressure on the lens during drilling.
Optional One-Sided Drilling
With the optional one-sided drilling attachment and compatible twist drill bit, the machine can perform one-sided drilling on CR-39 and polycarbonate lenses.
Adjustable Hole Diameter
The integrated reamer and bore-adjustment system allows the finished hole diameter to be set from 0.8 to 2.8 mm in precise 0.2 mm increments.
Adjustable Drilling Position
The lens-positioning dial controls the distance between the lens edge and the drilling point from 2.0 to 8.0 mm in 0.5 mm increments.
Multi-Material Compatibility
The machine supports commonly used ophthalmic lens materials, including mineral glass, CR-39 plastic, and polycarbonate.
Integrated Reaming Function
After drilling, the precision reamer allows the operator to enlarge and finish the hole according to the required mounting-hardware diameter.
Suction Lens Holder
The suction-cup holder secures the lens at a controlled inclination, helping the operator maintain the drilling surface in the correct horizontal position.
Adjustable Hand Rest
An adjustable hand rest stabilizes the operator’s hand and lens during drilling, supporting greater control and consistent positioning.
Continuous or Momentary Operation
The operating switch allows the drill bits and reamer to run continuously or momentarily, depending on the selected drilling procedure.
Compact Benchtop Design
