INS-11086 | Digital Lensmeter SML 900
The Opti+ INS-11086 SML 900 Digital Lensmeter is a high-performance lens analysis system designed to provide fast and precise measurements across a wide variety of ophthalmic lenses. Its 145-point Hartmann wavefront sensor combines advanced image analysis and processing technology to measure sphere, cylinder, axis, addition power, prism, pupillary distance, and optical-center height.
The SML 900 features a large 7-inch adjustable touchscreen, automatic progressive-lens detection, UV transmission measurement, contact lens mode, automatic data capture, and an integrated thermal printer. USB and RS-232 connectivity make it an efficient solution for optical laboratories, eyewear stores, lens manufacturers, and professional dispensing environments.
Outstanding Features
145-Point Hartmann Wavefront Technology
The SML 900 uses a 145-point Hartmann wavefront sensor to analyze the optical characteristics of the lens. This technology provides fast and precise measurements across different lens materials and designs.
Fast 0.1-Second Measurement
With a measurement speed of approximately 0.1 seconds, the instrument quickly obtains lens data and helps improve productivity in busy optical laboratories and dispensing locations.
Wide ±35.00 D Sphere Range
The lensmeter measures spherical power from -35.00 D to +35.00 D and cylinder power up to ±10.00 D, supporting a broad range of standard and high-power prescriptions.
Automatic Progressive Lens Detection
When automatic mode is active, the measurement interface recognizes when a progressive lens is placed on the lens support and changes to the appropriate measurement screen.
Progressive Lens Positioning Guidance
On-screen indicators help guide the operator during progressive-lens measurement. The system can also alert the user when a progressive lens has been positioned in the incorrect orientation.
Automatic Measurement and Data Storage
The SML 900 can automatically read and store measurement results, reducing repetitive manual input and simplifying the lens-verification workflow.
7-Inch Adjustable Touchscreen
A large 7-inch color touchscreen provides clear measurement results and intuitive access to operating modes. The display angle can be adjusted for a comfortable viewing position.
PD and Optical-Center Height Measurement
A full-size on-screen measuring scale allows the operator to determine pupillary distance and optical-center height by positioning marked lenses directly against the display scale.
Bifocal and Trifocal Lens Measurement
The system measures the distance and addition zones of bifocal and trifocal lenses, providing the data required to verify multifocal prescriptions.
Contact Lens Measurement Mode
A dedicated contact lens mode supports measurements from -25.00 D to +25.00 D and base curves between 6.00 and 9.00 mm.
Prism Measurement
The lensmeter measures prism power up to 15Δ and displays results using Cartesian X-Y coordinates, polar P-B coordinates, or millimeter values.
UV Transmission Measurement
The integrated UV measurement function evaluates lens transmission and includes a comparison mode that allows the operator to compare the UV performance of two lenses.
Built-In Thermal Printer
An integrated thermal printer allows measurement results to be printed directly from the instrument for documentation, order verification, and customer records.
USB and RS-232 Connectivity
USB and RS-232 output connections support communication with compatible external devices and help integrate the lensmeter into modern optical workflows.
✅ The Opti+ INS-11086 SML 900 Digital Lensmeter combines 145-point Hartmann wavefront technology, automatic progressive-lens detection, a 7-inch touchscreen, UV transmission analysis, PD and height measurement, contact lens mode, and integrated printing for fast and complete lens verification.
